It's fascinating how this misty mountain town holds so many stories within its landscapes and architecture. I set out with my camera, eager to capture the essence of this unique destination, and I wasn't disappointed.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Nhà hàng Chim To Dần. As someone who appreciates authentic culinary experiences, I was excited to try their local specialties. The restaurant is known for its bird dishes, and I decided to sample one of their signature offerings. The flavors were rich and unique, providing a delightful start to my day. It's always a pleasure to discover new tastes and appreciate the local cuisine, and this meal was definitely a highlight.

With a full stomach and a sense of adventure, I made my way to Lâu đài Tam Đảo - Château De Tamdao. Next on my itinerary was a visit to Tổng Cục Lâm Nghiệp - Vườn Quốc Gia Tam Đảo, the Tam Dao National Park. As a software developer, I spend most of my days indoors, so I always relish the opportunity to connect with nature. The park is a haven of biodiversity, with lush greenery and diverse flora and fauna. I embarked on a leisurely hike, taking in the sights and sounds of the forest. The air was crisp and clean, and the tranquility of the surroundings was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

For lunch, I ventured to Phố cổ quán. The restaurant’s name conjures images of Hanoi's ancient streets, and while not exactly the same, it offered a charming atmosphere and delicious local fare. I enjoyed a traditional Vietnamese dish, savoring the blend of flavors and spices. It was a satisfying meal that provided a glimpse into the culinary heritage of the region.

In the afternoon, I decided to do some shopping at CACY STORE. I am not usually one for shopping, but I wanted to find a small souvenir to remind me of my time in Tam Dao. The store had a selection of women's clothing, blending local style with modern trends. I ended up purchasing a small, handcrafted item that I thought Eleanor would appreciate. It's always nice to bring back a little something for my wife and son, Kenji, to show them I was thinking of them during my travels.

As the day drew to a close, I treated myself to dinner at Nhà Hàng - Trâu Núi Tam Đảo. This restaurant is known for its buffalo dishes, and I was eager to try their specialty. The meal was hearty and flavorful, providing a satisfying end to a day filled with exploration and discovery. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and reflect on the day's experiences.

I must admit that I had forgotten to pack an umbrella, which was a slight inconvenience given the occasional drizzle in Tam Dao. Also, getting a local SIM card would have been useful for easier communication and navigation. I'll make sure to remember these essentials for future trips.

Tomorrow, I plan to visit the Waterfall and Vương Quốc Hoa Đỗ Quyên. I am looking forward to witnessing the natural beauty of the waterfall and exploring the flower kingdom. I also intend to check out Sky 88 Club, perhaps for a relaxing drink in the evening.

Before I turn in for the night, I was thinking of my hometown of Matsumoto, Japan. It has been a while since I have been back, and I miss it dearly. I hope to be able to visit again soon and share the beauty of my hometown with Eleanor and Kenji. That is something I would cherish for a long time.

I really do enjoy traveling solo, as it gives me the chance to reflect on my life and appreciate the world around me. It also allows me to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things. I also heard some news today about Shark Bình, who apparently was arrested. I am not sure what to make of it, but it is certainly a surprise. I hope everything turns out okay for him and everyone involved.

On a lighter note, I was also thinking about the HTX Nấm Tam Đảo (Phú Thọ), which was recognized for its achievements. It is inspiring to see people making a difference in their communities and contributing to the economy. I admire their dedication and hard work. I hope to be able to visit their farm sometime and learn more about their operations. It is certainly something that I would be interested in.
