Today, Erika and I embarked on a journey back in time, exploring the Roman roots of Tarragona. As an antique shop owner, I'm always eager to connect with history firsthand, and Tarragona, with its well-preserved Roman heritage, offered a unique opportunity to do just that. Lunch found us at El Llagut, a restaurant recommended for its authentic Catalan cuisine. We shared a delicious paella, brimming with fresh seafood and flavorful rice. Erika, ever the wine enthusiast, chose a local Macabeo to accompany our meal. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance, and the service was excellent. The paella was delicious.

The restaurant's decor, with its stone arches and dark wooden accents, created a romantic and inviting ambiance. The staff was efficient.

As we prepare for tomorrow's adventures – a visit to the Mediterranean Balcony, Casa Canals, and Torre del Pretori – I feel a sense of anticipation, eager to uncover more of Tarragona's hidden gems. I am particularly looking forward to the views from the Mediterranean Balcony. Who knows what stories tomorrow will hold?
