Getting There

    To reach Band-e-Amir National Park from Baghlan by car, start by heading southwest on the main road out of Baghlan. Follow the road for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for the Kabul-Baghlan highway (Highway 1). Turn left onto the highway and continue for about 60 km. Look for signs indicating 'Bala Tang' and take the exit onto the road leading towards the park. After about 15 km on this road, you will arrive at Band-e-Amir National Park. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as fuel stations may be sparse along this route.

    To reach Band-e-Amir National Park via public transport, first, find a local bus or shared taxi from Baghlan to Kabul. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours and usually costs around 200-300 AFN. Once in Kabul, you will need to catch another bus or shared taxi heading towards Bamyan. Make sure to inform the driver that your destination is the turnoff for Band-e-Amir National Park. The second leg of your journey will take about 4-5 hours.
