Public Transport
From major towns in Kohistan, such as Dasu, take a bus or van heading towards Shangla. Buses depart frequently, and the fare is approximately 300 PKR per person [12]. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Yakhtangay. From Yakhtangay, hire a local taxi or rickshaw to Takh Ghar, costing around 200-300 PKR [12].
Car
From Kohistan, drive towards Shangla via the Karakoram Highway (N-35) [12]. After approximately 50 km, turn off towards Shangla and continue for about 30 km until you reach Yakhtangay [12]. From there, follow local signs to Takh Ghar. Note that road conditions may vary, and the final approach might require a hike.
