Darul Aman Palace, meaning 'Safe Haven,' is located 8 kilometers from Kabul's city center and represents a powerful symbol of Afghanistan's past, present, and future [4, 15]. Constructed in the 1920s during the reign of King Amanullah Khan, the palace was intended to be the centerpiece of a new, modern capital city, connected to Kabul by a narrow-gauge railway [3, 5].
