Flagg Mountain Tower: Alabama's Southern Appalachian Sentinel

Flagg Mountain Tower, nestled within the Weogufka State Forest in Coosa County, Alabama, marks a significant point in the Appalachian Mountain range [2, 4]. At 1,152 feet, Flagg Mountain is recognized as the southernmost peak of the Appalachians exceeding 1,000 feet [2].
