Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Centreville, Alabama. From the center of Cahaba River, take Highway 219 N until you reach the intersection with Highway 82. Turn left onto Highway 82 W. Continue on Highway 82 for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit for Centreville and turn right onto Walnut Street. The Cahaba Riverwalk and Canoe launch will be located at 835 Walnut St, Centreville, AL 35042, on your right side. Look for the signs indicating the canoe launch area.

  For those relying on public transportation, check for local bus services that operate between Cahaba River and Centreville. Depending on the schedule, you may need to take a bus to downtown Centreville. Once you arrive in Centreville, you can either walk or take a taxi/rideshare service to Walnut Street.
