Driving
From anywhere within Cheaha State Park, follow the signs towards Cheaha Lake. The lake is located near the park's lower campground [20, 22]. Parking is available near the lake, but it can fill up quickly on weekends [5, 12]. From the Mountain Store, it's approximately a 5-minute drive [4, 12]. Park admission is $5 for adults (ages 12 and older) and $2 for children (ages 4-11) [3, 4, 5]. This fee can be paid at the park gate or the Mountain Store if the gate is closed [3, 4].
Walking
From the Cheaha State Park campgrounds or cabins, follow the marked trails or park roads towards Cheaha Lake. The Fisherman's Trail offers a scenic walk around the lake [9, 20].
