The Chinnabee Silent Trail Parking Lot provides access to a scenic 6.3-mile hiking trail in the Talladega National Forest, near Cheaha State Park. Constructed in 1977 by Boy Scout Troop 29 from the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, the trail offers a serene experience through hardwood forests, past waterfalls like Cheaha Falls and Devil's Den, and along Cheaha Creek, before connecting to the Pinhoti Trail.

From Lineville, AL, head south on AL-77. Turn left onto Co Rd 49/Cheaha Rd and continue to follow Cheaha Rd. Turn left onto AL-281 N/Talladega Scenic Dr. Continue to follow AL-281 N. Turn left onto Co Rd 42. Follow Co Rd 42 to the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area. Parking at the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area requires a $3 fee.

From the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area, the final approach to Cheaha Falls is a 2.1-mile out-and-back hike along the Chinnabee Silent Trail. The trail is well-marked with white blazes and is generally considered easy. Follow the trail as it parallels Cheaha Creek, crossing several small streams along the way. The trail leads directly to the top of Cheaha Falls. There are no fees associated with hiking the trail.
