Walking
Wade Ward Nature Park is located a short walk from Gulf Place, the main public beach in Gulf Shores. From Gulf Place, walk north along Gulf Shores Parkway (Highway 59) for approximately two blocks. The park entrance will be on your right. Note: There are no restrooms in the park; public restrooms are available at Gulf Place.

From Highway 59, turn onto East 1st Avenue, then turn right onto Gulf Shores Parkway. The park will be on your right. Free public parking is available a short walk south of the park, one block east of Highway 59, between East Second and East First Avenue. From the parking area, walk north to the park entrance. Parking is free.
