From Lineville, Alabama, head south on AL-281 (Talladega Scenic Drive). Follow AL-281 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the entrance to Cheaha State Park [7]. Continue past the park entrance; the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area is a short distance further along AL-281. There is no fee to park at the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area [17]. However, if you enter Cheaha State Park, there is an entrance fee of $5 for adults (ages 12+), $2 for children (ages 4-11), and $2 for seniors (62+) [3, 7].

From the Chinnabee Silent Trail parking area on AL-281, follow the Chinnabee Silent Trail east as it parallels Cheaha Creek [12]. The trail is approximately 2.1 miles to Cheaha Falls and is considered easy to moderate [9, 15]. Follow the signs for Cheaha Falls along the trail [10]. Be aware that the trail can be rocky and uneven in places [17]. There is no fee to hike the Chinnabee Silent Trail [17].
