From anywhere within Westgate Park, the James W. Grant Recreation Center is easily accessible by foot. Follow the park's internal paths towards the center of the park; the recreation center is located at 501 Recreation Road. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
Wiregrass Transit Authority (WTA) provides public transportation in Dothan and Houston County. Use the Dial-a-Ride service by calling 334-836-5555 (Dothan) to schedule a ride to the recreation center. Reservations must be made one day in advance. A one-way fare within city limits starts at $2.
Driving
From downtown Dothan, drive north on US-231 N/N Oates St, then turn right onto Recreation Rd. The James W. Grant Recreation Center will be on your left. Parking is available at the recreation center. Parking is free.
