The block is located at the intersection of North Appletree Street, North College Street, and East Troy Street. The monument is easily visible from the sidewalk. There is no cost for walking.

    Dothan is served by Wiregrass Transit Authority's Dial-a-Ride service. You must call in advance to schedule a ride. Call (334) 836-5555 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, from two weeks to one business day ahead of when you need the ride. Fares start at $2.00 within city limits. This diminutive, triangular piece of land is located at the intersection of North Appletree Street, North College Street, and East Troy Street.In 1964, Ripley's Believe It or Not! recognized it as the smallest city block in the world. The Camellia Garden Club of Dothan commemorated this distinction with a granite monument, which remains to this day. The block also features a stop sign, a yield sign, and a street sign. Measuring just a few feet on each side, the block is smaller than many living rooms. Historically, the site was home to a snack shop in the 1920s, and later, a gas station in 1931. The reasons for the demolition of these buildings remain a mystery. Today, the World's Smallest City Block is a symbol of Dothan's unique identity.
