Discover more about Fairhope Brewing Company

Fairhope Brewing Company holds the distinction of being Lower Alabama's first production craft brewery since Prohibition. Founded in 2012 by a group of local beer lovers, including Michele and Brian Kane, Dan Murphy, Gabe Harris, and Jim Foley, the brewery was born out of the question, “Why isn't there a local craft brewery in Southern Alabama?”. Located a block off Highway 98 at 914 Nichols Ave, Fairhope, AL, the brewery features a taproom that's open six days a week, providing a comfortable space to gather with friends and sample their variety of beers. While they don't have a kitchen, patrons are welcome to bring their own food. Brewery tours are offered every Saturday at noon, and private tours for small groups and events can be arranged. Fairhope Brewing embraces its identity as a small-town brewery, focusing on brewing beers they enjoy drinking, while also offering unique and experimental options. The brewery's name reflects its connection to the town, and its logo features a pelican inside a capital 'F'. The taproom is located in a brick-faced building, while the production facility next door features a mural. Fairhope Brewing distributes its beers throughout Alabama, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle.
