The pier is at the end of Fairhope Avenue, about a 10-15 minute walk from the intersection of Fairhope Avenue and N Section Street. Enjoy the shops and restaurants along the way. No costs involved.

If driving from downtown Fairhope, take Fairhope Avenue west towards Mobile Bay. The pier is located at the end of Fairhope Avenue. Public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis near the pier and at the adjacent North Beach Park. Parking at North Beach Park may have a fee during the summer months for non-residents, typically around $6.00. Arrive early to secure a spot.

The Fairhope Pier, often called the town's 'crown jewel' or 'town square', is more than just a structure; it's a symbol of Fairhope's identity and a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. A concrete pier was built in 1968 to enhance its durability. It was severely damaged by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After renovations, the Fairhope Pier reopened on November 22, 2006.Today, the 1,448-foot pier provides a space for fishing, walking, and enjoying the scenery. Amenities include benches, covered areas, restrooms, and a marina. Adjacent to the pier is North Beach Park, featuring a rose garden, fountain, picnic tables, a duck pond, and a sandy beach. The Beach Park Tree Trail contains almost 500 species of trees.The pier is a focal point for community events, including the annual Fourth of July Festival and firework displays. Whether you're fishing, enjoying a picnic, or watching a sunset, the Fairhope Pier offers a blend of recreation, natural beauty, and community spirit.
