Getting There

Driving
From Pensacola Beach, head west on Fort Pickens Road towards the Fort Pickens area. The Picnic Pavilion is located along Fort Pickens Road, inside the Gulf Islands National Seashore. After crossing the toll bridge ($1.00), continue along Fort Pickens Road. The pavilion will be on the right. Parking is available in the nearby lots. Note that there is an entrance fee to the Fort Pickens Area.

Public Transport
From Pensacola, take the ECAT line 61 bus towards Pensacola Beach. Get off at the Pensacola Beach Visitors Information Center and transfer to the free Pensacola Beach Trolley. Take the trolley towards Park West/Fort Pickens. Get off at a designated stop near Fort Pickens Road and walk west along the road to the Picnic Pavilion. ECAT bus fare is $1.75. The Pensacola Beach Trolley is free.

Ferry
Take the Pensacola Bay City Ferry from downtown Pensacola or Pensacola Beach to Fort Pickens. From the Fort Pickens ferry dock, walk along the road towards the entrance of Fort Pickens. The Picnic Pavilion will be along the way. Ferry rates are $30 for adults. This price does not include the entrance fee to the National Park.
