Driving
From Pensacola Beach, head west on Fort Pickens Road. Continue along Fort Pickens Road until you reach the Picnic Pavilion on the left. The pavilion is located within the Gulf Islands National Seashore, so ensure you have a park pass or are prepared to pay the entrance fee. Parking is available nearby. Expect to pay a $1 toll on the Bob Sikes Bridge when entering Pensacola Beach. A 7-day pass to the Gulf Islands National Seashore is $25 per vehicle.
Public Transport
Take the ECAT Route 61 bus towards Fort Pickens. Get off at the Fort Pickens Rd @ Park West stop. From there, it's approximately a 54-minute walk to the Picnic Pavilion. The ECAT bus fare is $2. Alternatively, during the peak season, you can utilize the free Pensacola Beach Island Trolley to get around Pensacola Beach. Check the trolley routes and stops for the most convenient option.
Walking
From Park West on Pensacola Beach, continue east along Fort Pickens Road. Follow the road for approximately 2.6 miles until you reach the Picnic Pavilion on the left. Ensure you are aware of traffic and pedestrian safety. There are no costs associated with walking, but remember to bring water and sun protection.
