The Foley Event Center is a 90,000+ sq ft multi-use indoor facility that stands as a vibrant hub for sports and community activities in Foley, Alabama. Operated by Foley Sports Tourism, a department within the City of Foley, the Event Center is a prime venue for all things sports. The center's expansive facilities include 6 competition basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts, and 12+ pickleball courts. The facility is equipped with Robbins® Strata-Sport® Flooring, 2 locker rooms, concession/vending areas, and 3 meeting/flex rooms. There is also an athletic training room with treatment tables, 680+ paved parking spaces with overflow, and 1,000+ padded chairs. LED lighting, a one-touch backdrop and net system for volleyball and basketball, and ground-level loading area enhance the experience for athletes and event organizers. The center is handicap accessible and includes wall pads for indoor sports, portable pickleball nets and a media room. Bleacher seating is also available. Since its grand opening in 2017, the Foley Event Center has hosted a variety of events, including archery, basketball, cheer and dance, cornhole, gymnastics, martial arts, meetings and conventions, pickleball, ping pong, special events, volleyball, and wrestling. It is designed to improve the quality of life in the city, both through generating tourism dollars and giving residents the opportunity to see world-class sporting events.
