Foley Sports Complex: A Hub for Athletic Excellence

The Foley Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art sports destination in Foley, Alabama, designed to host a variety of athletic events and tournaments. This 100-acre complex includes the Raymond C. Christensen Sportsplex, used for baseball and softball, and the Ralph Schumacher Soccer Complex, featuring several lighted fields. With its well-maintained facilities, the complex attracts local teams and regional competitive tournaments, such as the USA Softball of Alabama World Series, and the USSSA Gulf Coast National Championships.The complex offers ten baseball/softball fields and five soccer fields, all equipped with field lighting. Visitors can enjoy concessions at both the baseball and soccer fields, a covered registration pavilion, a children's playground, and a scenic reflection pond. The complex is designed to be family-friendly, providing a welcoming atmosphere for athletes and spectators.The Foley Sports Complex is operated by the City of Foley, Parks and Recreation department. It is a separate entity from the Foley Sports Tourism Complex, which includes the Foley Event Center and outdoor sports fields located at a different location. The Foley Sports Complex was named Sports Complex of the Year in 2011 by the Alabama Turfgrass Association.
