Sisters and co-owners Robin Peters and Susan Adams opened The Copper Kettle TeaBar in 2014, after operating Two Sassy Cups Tea Room since 2005. Their goal was to create a "Great Good Place" where guests feel welcomed and can enjoy soulful moments. With over 100 types of tea from around the world, served hot or cold and with countless combinations, there's a tea for every palate. The menu also features homemade soups, sandwiches, and delectable treats, all made with the same love and creative passion as their tea. The Copper Kettle's intimate setting accommodates up to 25 people indoors, with additional alfresco dining under shady oak trees, creating a lovely space for relaxation, birthday parties, and enjoying the adjacent Heritage Park. The tea bar has received several awards and recognitions, including being voted People's Choice in 2019 and Best Local Business in 2021. It has also been honored as one of the 10,000 Small Business award winners with Goldman & Sachs and Babson College. In addition to the original tea house, The Copper Kettle has expanded to include a second location, the Copper Kettle Cottage, which serves as an outlet for larger private events. This cozy cottage, located in the historic district at 202 Myrtle Street, can seat up to 35 people and is within walking distance of antique stores, art boutiques, and parks.
