If you are starting from the center of Gulf Shores, head east on E 1st Ave towards Gulf Shores Pkwy. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Gulf Shores Pkwy (AL-59). Cross over to the east side of AL-59 and proceed south. Follow AL-59 for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Gulf State Park on your left at State Park Rd. There are designated walking paths leading into the park.
