Walking
From Gulf Place, walk north on Gulf Shores Parkway (Highway 59) for approximately two blocks. The park entrance is accessible from a sidewalk on the east side of the highway. Look for the Wade Ward Nature Park sign. Free public parking is available one block east of Highway 59 on East 1st Street. There are no sidewalks directly from the parking lot to the park entrance, so use caution when walking along the shoulder of Highway 59.
