Driving
From Lineville, head north on AL-49 N for approximately 30 minutes. Look for signs indicating the turn-off to Cheaha Road (County Road 42). Follow Cheaha Road west for about 4 miles to the Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area (Forest Road 646) on the left. After turning left onto Forest Road 646, travel 2 miles to the parking lot. A $3 parking permit is required; bring exact change as it's an honor system.

Hiking
From the Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area parking lot, follow the Chinnabee Silent Trail upstream for approximately half a mile (800 meters) to reach Devil's Den Falls. The trail is moderately challenging with some steep inclines, rocky paths, and a bridge crossing. Stay left at any forks in the trail to reach the falls. Be aware that the trail is not always clearly marked with signs specifically for Devil's Den Falls.
