Campus No. 805 is a unique entertainment complex located in Huntsville, Alabama, that has been adapted from a former school building. Originally established in 1949 as an extension of the University of Alabama, the building later became S.R. Butler High School in 1951, and then Roy L. Stone Middle School in 1967. The middle school closed its doors in 2009, and in 2014, developer Randy Schrimsher transformed the 13-acre campus into the entertainment hub it is today. The name "Campus No. 805" pays homage to the site's educational legacy and the local zip code, 35805. Today, Campus No. 805 serves as a central gathering place, featuring a diverse array of attractions. Visitors can enjoy craft breweries like Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer Brewing, savor culinary delights at eateries such as Ale's Kitchen and Earth & Stone Wood Fired Pizza, and engage in activities ranging from table tennis and lasers to virtual golf at X-Golf Huntsville.
