Dare Park Point provides convenient access to Lake Martin, a sprawling 44,000-acre aquatic playground with over 880 miles of shoreline. The lake's clear waters are ideal for boating, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Anglers can enjoy fishing for various species, including bass, crappie, and catfish. The park features shaded pavilions equipped with picnic tables and charcoal grills, perfect for family gatherings and leisurely meals. A sandy beach invites visitors to relax by the water's edge, while two fishing piers offer opportunities to cast a line. A boat ramp adjacent to the park provides year-round access to the lake. In addition to water activities, Dare Park Point is adjacent to Holly Hills, a walking trail and official site on the Piedmont Plateau Birding Trail.
