    Gorham's Bluff is a planned community located approximately 5 miles northeast of Pisgah, Alabama. It overlooks the Raccoon Creek area of the Tennessee River. The history of Gorham's Bluff begins with W.B. "Uncle Billy" Gorham, a Confederate veteran who was deeded eighty acres of land in 1892. He built a remote home there, and the area eventually took his name.In the early 1990s, developers envisioned a community blending history, culture, and architecture. Today, Gorham's Bluff features a lodge, cottages, and a meeting house that serves as a community arts center. It's also part of the Alabama Birding Trails. Visitors can explore walking trails with views of the Tennessee River Valley. The town hosts events and performances, adding to its appeal.Nearby attractions include Pisgah Gorge, with its waterfalls and scenic overlooks, and Little River Canyon National Preserve.
