    From downtown Huntsville, take US-431 N/ Governors Drive. Follow US-431 N for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs for Burritt on the Mountain. Turn left onto Burritt Drive SE and follow it to the top of the mountain. Free parking is available at Burritt on the Mountain. An additional, smaller parking area is available further up Burritt Drive for closer access to the Rock Bluff Trail. Parking is free.

    Huntsville's public transportation options are limited on the mountain. The best option is to take a taxi or ride-sharing service from downtown Huntsville to Burritt on the Mountain. A one-way trip will cost approximately $20-$30.

  • Walking

    While it is technically possible to walk to Burritt on the Mountain, it is not recommended due to the distance and steepness of the road. There are no sidewalks or designated walking paths along much of Burritt Drive. This is not a safe or practical option for most visitors.
