Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Huntsville, the Five Points Historic District is easily accessible on foot. Head north on either Washington Street or Jefferson Street, then turn right onto Pratt Avenue. Continue east on Pratt Avenue, and you'll enter the district within a few blocks. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes, offering a pleasant stroll through the city.

• Public Transport

  Huntsville's Orbit bus system provides access to the Five Points Historic District. Several routes have stops near the district. Check the Orbit bus schedule and route map for the most convenient option from your starting location. The Huntsville Transit Center is located at 521 Pratt Ave, which is in the district. A single ride fare is $1.25.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Huntsville. A ride from downtown Huntsville to the Five Points Historic District typically costs between $8 and $12, depending on traffic and demand.

• Driving

  If driving, navigate to the intersection of Holmes Avenue, Pratt Avenue, California Street, and Andrew Jackson Way. Street parking is available throughout the district, with metered parking costing $0.50 per hour, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Metered parking is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends and holidays. There are also free street and lot parking options off both sides of Pratt Avenue.
