Originally atop the Liberty National Life Insurance Company building in downtown Birmingham, it was relocated here in 1989. This iconic statue serves as a symbol of freedom and opportunity. Liberty Park's development began in the early 1990s, transforming wooded forestland into a thriving center. The community was designed with distinct neighborhoods, from low-maintenance homes to luxurious estates.     Driving

    If driving from the Cahaba River area, head northwest on River Road until you reach U.S. Route 31 (Montgomery Highway). Turn left onto U.S. Route 31 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. After passing through Vestavia Hills, turn right onto Liberty Parkway. Follow Liberty Parkway until you see the entrance to Liberty Park on your right. Parking is available on-site and is free.
