If you're staying in a hotel or rental near the beach, walk south toward Fort Pickens Road. Turn left and walk along the road for about 1 mile. The Picnic Pavilion will be on your right, just before the Fort Pickens entrance.

From downtown Pensacola, take ECAT Route 61 (Pensacola Beach) from Palafox Street to the Pensacola Beach stop. Walk towards Fort Pickens Road and follow the signs for the Picnic Pavilion, about a 10-minute walk along the beach path. A single fare is around $2.

From I-10, take Exit 12 for I-110 South, then exit 1B for Gregory Street East. Merge onto E Chase Street, turn left onto Bayfront Parkway / Hwy 98 East, then merge onto Hwy 399 to Pensacola Beach. Cross the Bob Sikes Bridge (toll $1) and turn right onto Fort Pickens Road. Continue to 1400 Fort Pickens Rd. A $25 fee is required to enter the Fort Pickens area. This pass is valid for seven days. Parking is available at Park West, located on the right before the Fort Pickens gate entrance.
