Continue onto Triana Boulevard, and Lowe Mill will be on your left. Sidewalks are available for most of the route.

Continue onto Triana Boulevard SW. Lowe Mill will be on your left. Parking is available in the lots surrounding the mill. Parking is free, though it can be limited during peak hours and special events.

Housed in a historic textile mill built in 1900, the facility has been transformed into a thriving center for arts, culture, and innovation. Today, Lowe Mill is the largest privately-owned arts facility in the United States, providing studio and exhibition space for over 200 artists and makers.Visitors to Lowe Mill can explore a wide range of art forms, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, music, dance, and theater. The complex features over 150 working studios, where artists create and display their work. The public is welcome to visit these studios, interact with the artists, and purchase unique, handcrafted items.Lowe Mill also hosts numerous events, exhibitions, and performances throughout the year. These include art shows, live music, theater productions, workshops, and the popular Concerts on the Dock series. The facility also includes art galleries, performance venues, restaurants, a multi-use theater, and a community garden.The history of Lowe Mill is closely tied to the development of Huntsville. Originally a cotton mill, the facility later served as a cotton warehouse and a shoe factory. In 2001, the current owner, Jim Hudson, purchased the mill with the vision of creating an artists' collective. Inspired by the Torpedo Factory in Arlington, Virginia, Hudson transformed Lowe Mill into the dynamic arts center it is today.
