Driving
Cheaha State Park is accessible by car via Alabama Highway 281, also known as the Talladega Scenic Drive. From I-20, take exit 191 and head south on Hwy 431, then turn right onto Hwy 281. Follow Hwy 281 to the park entrance. The entrance fee is $5 per person for adults (12+), $2 for children (4-11) and seniors (62+ with ID). Active military and veterans receive free admission with ID. Payment can be made at the park gate or the Mountain Store.

While public transportation directly to Cheaha State Park is limited, the nearest city with public transport is Anniston. From Birmingham, you can take a Greyhound bus to Anniston. From Anniston, a taxi or rideshare service is required to reach the park, approximately a 30-45 minute drive. Expect to pay around $50-$80 for the taxi/rideshare.
