    From I-65, take Exit 242 for Valleydale Road and head east. Continue onto Double Oak Lane. Turn left onto Cahaba Valley Road/AL-119 N. Turn right onto Oak Mountain State Park Road. Continue onto Terrace Drive. Follow signs to the park entrance. Alternatively, from US-280, turn onto AL-119 S/Cahaba Valley Rd. In approximately 5 miles, turn left onto Oak Mountain State Park Road, then continue onto Terrace Drive. Follow signs to the park entrance. As of May 12, 2025, a new entry gate is open off Highway 280 on Belcher Drive, across from North Shelby Baptist Church. Entrance fee is $5 per vehicle for Pelham residents and $15 for non-residents. Parking is available throughout the park at various trailheads and attractions. Expect delays during peak times and special events.
