River Heritage Park: A Scenic Hub in Florence

River Heritage Park, situated at the base of the Renaissance Tower and adjacent to the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Conference Center, is a focal point for recreation and scenic appreciation in Florence, Alabama. Completed in the spring of 2024, the trail connects the trailhead to the Patton Island Overlook, with interpretive displays highlighting the Tennessee River's history. Along the trail, you'll find the Florence Wagon Works, a wagon manufacturing plant established in 1889.
