Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Florence. Head north on North Court Street towards East Mobile Street. Continue on North Court Street, which will turn into Alabama Highway 133. Follow this highway for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Seymore Avenue, and the Old Water Tower will be on your right. Look for the large structure; parking is available along the street.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes that service Florence. One possible route is to take Bus 1 towards the North Florence area. Get off at the closest stop to Seymore Avenue. You may need to walk about 0.5 miles on Seymore Avenue to reach the Old Water Tower. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may not run frequently.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, from the Florence City Hall (located at 100 Hightower Place), head north on North Court Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach Seymore Avenue. Turn right onto Seymore Avenue, and the Old Water Tower will be on your right-hand side. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes.
