    From downtown Northport, head north on Main Avenue, which becomes Highway 43. Continue onto New Watermelon Road. Turn right onto Watermelon Rd. Sokol Park will be on your left. Parking is available throughout the park. Parking is free.

    From the University of Alabama campus, head north on Hackberry Lane, then turn left onto 15th Street. Continue straight until you reach Watermelon Road. Turn right onto Watermelon Road and cycle for about 1.5 miles until you reach Sokol Park. Bicycle rentals are available in Tuscaloosa. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no dedicated bike lanes on Watermelon Road, so exercise caution. There is no cost associated with this approach.
