Getting There

Public Transport
From Saranda, take the bus to Butrint. The bus departs from the Saranda ferry terminal approximately every 30 minutes between 7:30 AM and 7 PM. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around 200 Lek (€2). The bus also stops in Ksamil, where you can board for a fare of approximately 100 Lek.

Taxi
Taxis are available from Saranda and Ksamil. A taxi from Ksamil to Butrint costs approximately 1000-1500 Lek (€10-€15). From Saranda, expect to pay around 4000-5000 Lek (€40-€50). Agree on the price before starting your journey.

Car
If driving, head south from Ksamil. There is a large car park near the entry gate. Parking is free, but it can fill up quickly during peak season. A ferry crossing is available to reach the park if the main car park is full, costing €7 per car.
