Walking

If you are already in Shtanë, reaching Xhamia e Dukagjinit is easily done by foot. From the village center, head southeast on the unnamed road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the coordinates 42.11134, 20.27356. The mosque will be visible from the road. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

Public Transport

Public transportation in Albania mainly consists of buses and minibuses (furgons). Each village typically has its minibus service to the nearest town. These minibuses usually depart early in the morning (around 6 or 7 am) and return from the city in the afternoon. To reach Shtanë, inquire about the local minibus schedules from nearby towns. Bus tickets are purchased in cash on the bus. A typical cost for traveling between cities that have a distance between 100 to 150km long is about 5-6 Euros (800L).

Taxi

Taxis are available in Albania, but their presence in smaller villages like Shtanë might be limited. If you are arriving from a larger city like Kukës or Tirana, you can take a taxi to Shtanë.
