Walking
If you are in the center of Durrës, start at Skënderbeu Square. Head south towards Rruga Taulantia and continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn right onto the promenade and follow it until you reach the beach. As you walk along the beach, keep an eye out for the Lighthouse, which is located at the end of the promenade. The walk is a pleasant way to experience the city and enjoy the sea breeze. There is no cost for walking.
Public Transport
From the Durrës bus station, take any bus that heads towards the city center or the beach area. Disembark at the stop closest to the beach (usually marked with signs). From there, walk towards the coast, and follow the promenade to the right until you reach the Lighthouse. The distance is approximately 1 km. A single bus fare in Durrës costs 40 ALL.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Durrës. From the city center, a short taxi ride to the lighthouse will cost approximately 500-1250 ALL, depending on the distance and traffic. Ensure the meter is running or negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
