Public Transport
From Durrës, take a local bus towards Golem or Kavajë. These buses depart frequently from Durrës main bus station. The bus fare is approximately 100 ALL, payable directly to the driver. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and the bus will drop you off near Plazhi i Golemit, a short 10-minute walk from the beach.
Taxi
From Tirana, a taxi to Plazhi i Golemit will cost approximately $65 - $85 and take around 50 minutes. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Alternatively, a taxi from Durrës to Plazhi i Golemit will take around 15 minutes.
Driving
If driving from Tirana, head towards Durrës and then follow the signs to Golem. The journey is approximately 39 km and takes about 50 minutes. Parking is available near the beach, but it can be crowded during peak season. Parking fees may apply.
