Bus
From Durres, head to the main bus station located at Rruga Egnatia. Take a bus heading towards Tirana; these buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive in Tirana, you will disembark at the main bus terminal. From the terminal, walk towards the city center following the signs for Sheshi Skënderbej. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Durres. Simply flag down a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. Tell the driver to take you to 'Sheshi Skënderbej 1, Tirana'. The journey will take about 40 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are staying in central Durres, you can enjoy a pleasant walk towards Tirana, but be prepared for a long trek of approximately 35 km. Start by heading northeast towards the main road (Rruga Egnatia). Follow this road straight towards Tirana. Once you reach the outskirts of Tirana, continue walking until you reach Sheshi Skënderbej in the city center.
