Car

If driving from Elbasan city center, head north on Rruga Skënderbeu towards Rruga Dëshmorët e Kombit. Continue straight for about 2 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rruga e Elbasanit. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto Rruga Funar. Follow this road for about 3 km to arrive at Funar. Parking is available nearby. Note that there are limited service areas nearby, so stock up on supplies before you head up.

Public Transport

To reach Funar by public transport from Elbasan, go to the main bus station. Look for buses heading towards the villages around Elbasan, specifically those labeled with the destination Rruga Funar. The fare typically costs around 100-200 ALL. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Funar stop.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Elbasan. A taxi ride from the city center to Funar will cost approximately 1800 ALL, based on a 5km ride. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis can be found throughout the city or hailed via a ride-hailing app.
