Walking
From the center of Gjirokastër, begin at the main square (Sheshi Çameri). Head southeast on Rruga Ismail Qemali towards Rruga A. K. Koti. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach a large intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto Rruga 28 Nëntori. Walk for another 500 meters until you see a sign pointing towards 'Kanionet e Osumit'. Follow this path which leads you through scenic countryside. After about 2 km, you will arrive at the entrance of Kanionet e Osumit.
Bus
From the center of Gjirokastër, walk to the bus station located near the main square (Sheshi Çameri). Look for buses heading towards Berat or the Osum Canyon area. The bus ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Kanionet e Osumit, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start from Rruga Ismail Qemali and follow the same route heading southeast. Biking to Kanionet e Osumit will take about 30-45 minutes. Keep an eye out for the signpost towards the canyon as you approach the area.
