Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Berat, take a bus to Çorovodë. Buses run regularly, and the fare is approximately 200 Lek (about $2 USD). From Çorovodë, hire a taxi or find a local minibus to the Osumi Canyon viewpoint. The taxi ride should cost around 1500-2000 Lek (approximately $15-20 USD).

  • Walking

    If you arrive in the village of Dhorës via public transport, you can walk to the Osumi Canyon viewpoint. The walk is about 3 km and takes approximately 40 minutes. Head south on the main road, taking the left path at the fork, which leads uphill. Follow the signs towards Osumi Canyon. Be aware that the path can be steep, so wear appropriate footwear.

Osumi Canyon, or Kanioni i Osumit, is a 26-kilometer-long river gorge in southern Albania, celebrated as one of the country's most spectacular natural attractions.
