BUNK'ART: A Journey into Albania's Communist Past

BUNK'ART is a unique museum experience set within a massive underground bunker on the outskirts of Tirana. Originally built in the 1970s as a nuclear shelter for Albania's political and military elite, the bunker remained a secret for many years. Today, BUNK'ART has been transformed into a historical and art center, offering a chilling look into Albania's communist era and its transition to democracy. Visitors enter through a long, dimly lit tunnel, immediately immersing themselves in the bunker's eerie atmosphere. Inside, the five-story structure contains 106 rooms covering over 3,000 square meters.
