Walking

The Saranda Embankment is easily accessible on foot from most locations in the city center. Simply head towards the waterfront and follow the main promenade. It stretches the entire waterfront, from the Ferry Terminal all the way down to Rruga Butrinti.

Public Transport

To reach the Saranda Embankment by public transportation, take a bus or minibus that travels to Sarandë. Buses typically depart from the main bus terminals in cities like Gjirokastër or Tirana. Once you arrive at the Sarandë bus station, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Follow the signs for 'Shëtitorja Naim Frashëri', which is a well-known area in Sarandë. The embankment is a short walk from the bus station, making it easy to find. Bus fare is usually around 100-200 Albanian Lek (approximately 1-2 euros).

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Saranda and can take you directly to the embankment. A short taxi ride within the city center typically costs around $7 (approximately 700-800 Lek) for about 2 km. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Ride-hailing apps like Patoko are also available.

Car

If driving, head towards Sarandë city center. From the main road (SH8), take the exit towards Sarandë. Once in the city, follow the signs for 'Shëtitorja Naim Frashëri'. The embankment is located along the waterfront and is easily accessible. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some places may charge a fee, typically around 2-3 euros per hour or €10-€15 per day.
