Walking

The Cloud is located near Skanderbeg Square in the center of Tirana, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From Skanderbeg Square, walk towards the National Arts Gallery; The Cloud is situated in front of it. There is no cost involved.

Public Transport

Tirana's bus network provides access to the city center. Look for buses that go to Qender (Center) or Skanderbeg Square. A non-transfer ticket costs 40 Lek. Public transport in Tirana operates between 06:00 and 23:00.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Tirana. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to The Cloud should cost between 300-500 Lek, depending on the distance and traffic. Taxi base fare starts at 300 Lek, with an additional 150 Lek per kilometer.

The Cloud, or Reja, stands as a testament to Tirana's modern transformation, located in front of the National Gallery of Arts. Originally commissioned for London's Serpentine Gallery in 2013 and moved to Tirana in 2016, this unique art installation was designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto.Constructed from a delicate network of white steel bars, The Cloud resembles a giant, ethereal cloud, offering a semi-transparent canopy that provides shelter while connecting visitors to the surrounding landscape. The structure covers 350 square meters and features stepped terraces, creating a flexible, multi-purpose social space. Visitors are encouraged to climb on top or find a seat underneath, providing a unique perspective of the city.Since its arrival in Tirana, The Cloud has become a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists, serving as a modern art space that hosts various cultural events and exhibitions. During the warm summer evenings, it transforms into an atmospheric stage for musicians and theater performances. The Cloud has become a symbol of Tirana's evolving identity, blending modern innovation with the city's rich heritage.
