Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Himara, head northeast on Rruga Vasil Shanto towards Rruga Ismail Qemali. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Himare - Livadh Rd. Turn left onto Himare - Livadh Rd. Continue for approximately 3 km. Gonia Beach will be on your left side, marked by a small sign. There is no entrance fee for the beach.

  • Public Transportation (Minibus)

    From the main bus station in Himara, look for a minibus heading towards Livadh. These minibuses frequently depart and cost around 100 ALL (Albanian Lek) per person. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you at Gonia Beach, as it is a known stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance downhill to reach the beach.

    If you are already near Himara's waterfront, you can walk to Gonia Beach. Head south along the waterfront promenade, and then follow the Himare - Livadh Rd towards the east for about 3 km.
