Getting there

Walking

From the center of Berat in the Mangalem Quarter, follow signs leading uphill towards the Rooftop View. The path involves a moderately steep walk. Allow about 15-20 minutes from the main part of the quarter to reach the top. No costs involved.

Taxi

Taxis are available in Berat, with a taxi stand in "Iljaz Vrioni" square. A taxi from the city center can take you closer to the Rooftop View, reducing the amount of uphill walking required. Be prepared for a short walk from the drop-off point. A 5km ride in Berat costs about 1800 ALL. From the city center, expect to pay between 500-800 ALL for a short trip to the base of the hill leading to the Rooftop View.

Public Transport

From Berat's main bus station, you can take a local bus towards the eastern part of the city. Get off near a known landmark in Mangalem Quarter and walk towards the Rooftop View. The bus crosses the main road and stops near tourist sites, such as the bridge of Gorica, Mangalem quarter and the city center. Bus fare is approximately 50 ALL.
