From Himara, drive north on the SH8 road towards Porto Palermo. As you exit Himara, continue straight for about 10 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Porto Palermo. Once you reach Porto Palermo, follow the road that leads towards the coast. The Monastery of St. Nicholas is located near the coast, off the main road. You can either park along the road and walk to the monastery or continue driving until you find a suitable parking spot nearby.

After arriving in Porto Palermo, disembark at the main stop. From there, you can either walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along the coastal road to the monastery, or you may find a taxi available at the bus stop which can take you directly to the monastery. Be prepared for a small fare, typically around 300 to 500 ALL (Albanian Lek).
