Turn left onto Rruga e Tujan and continue to the Old Bazaar entrance. Walk through the bazaar, then exit and head uphill on Rruga e Kalivo towards the castle area. Follow signs for the Watch Tower. The walk uphill takes about 15 minutes. Be prepared for steep inclines. There is no cost for this final approach.

    From the main bus station in Kruja, take a local bus towards the outskirts. Disembark at any stop indicating 'Krujë Castle' or 'Kalivo'.
