Public Transport
To reach Petrelë Castle from Tirana, head to the Southeast Bus Station and look for a bus heading towards Elbasan or Petrelë. Buses typically depart every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Petrelë, you can walk to the castle, which is about 1 kilometer uphill from the bus stop. A bus ticket should cost around 100 ALL.
Taxi
For a more direct route from Tirana, take a taxi to Petrelë Castle. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Negotiate the fare beforehand, but expect to pay around 1500-2000 ALL.
Walking
If you are already in Petrelë, you can reach Petrelë Castle on foot. From the center of Petrelë, head towards Rruga Petreles. The castle is located at the top of a hill and the walk is about 1 kilometer. It may take you around 20-30 minutes to reach the castle.
